Lakshmin Bachu

Lakshmin Bachu is a distinguished professional in the engineering and water resources sectors, currently serving as Principal Consultant Engineering Canada at Tetra Tech since 2022. Lakshmin leads the Asian Region for the International Committee of the Canadian Dam Association and holds several significant positions including Vice Chair of the Communications Committee and member of the Equity Diversity Inclusion & Accessibility Committee. Since 2023, Lakshmin has been involved as a Board Member-National Director-Interim Secretary for the Canadian Water Resources Association and chairs the User Advisory Panel for Global Water Futures. Previous roles include leadership in major consulting firms such as Stantec and SNC-Lavalin, as well as contributions to the Telugu Association of Saskatoon. Lakshmin is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, building upon a robust educational background from the University of Saskatchewan and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
