Miao Hu has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

In 2008, Miao Hu earned a B.E. in Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Afterward, from 2009 to 2012, they served as a Graduate Student/PhD candidate at Polytechnic Institute of New York University.

In 2013, Miao Hu worked as a Visiting PhD Student at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories. They continued their tenure at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories as a Postdoc from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they also pursued a PhD at the University of Pittsburgh from 2012 to 2014.
