Tetsuro Namba

Tetsuro Namba is a highly experienced executive specializing in global procurement and strategic sourcing within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Vice President of Global External Manufacturing & Devices Procurement at Teva Pharmaceuticals since January 2017, Tetsuro leads procurement teams for semi-finished products and devices, reporting directly to the Chief Procurement Officer. Previous positions at Teva include Vice President Global Procurement for the Europe region and Vice President Direct Procurement for Europe & Asia-Pac, overseeing a total external spend of $2 billion across numerous sites. Tetsuro's earlier career includes significant roles at Merck Sharp & Dohme, where as Director of Global Procurement, Tetsuro guided sourcing operations in the Benelux and Central European regions. Tetsuro's qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Utrecht University and experience in diverse managerial roles across various companies, demonstrating a strong commitment to driving procurement excellence within the pharmaceutical sector.
