Ian Pass has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the automotive industry. Ian began their career at Ford Motor Company, where they worked in various roles from 1989 to 2000, including as a Technical Apprentice and Production Operator. Ian then joined Visteon Corporation, where they held several positions such as Resident Powertrain Quality Engineer and European Project Quality Engineer. Ian'sresponsibilities included quality assurance, customer support, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. Ian eventually became the Europe Customer Quality Engineering Manager, leading a team of 40 engineers and technicians. Ian also served as a Program Manager, overseeing multimillion-dollar projects. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Global Customer Group Quality Manager, responsible for quality assurance and improvement for Visteon's global Nissan business account. In 2022, Ian joined Tevva Electric Trucks as the Assembly Quality Lead.
Ian Pass completed their education in the field of engineering. Ian first attended Havering College of further and higher education from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained multiple City & Guilds certifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Ian then attended Havering Technical College of further & higher education from 1998 to 1999, obtaining an ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Ian later pursued higher education at Havering Technical College of higher & further education from 1999 to 2001, earning an HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Finally, from 2001 to 2002, they attended Anglia Ruskin University, where they achieved an HND in Engineering. Ian obtained their Bachelor of Engineering honours - BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from Anglia Ruskin University, completing their education from 2002 to 2005.
