Purnachandra Rao

PurnaChandra Rao is currently the Head of Process Development (R&D) and QA at Tex Biosciences (P) Ltd, responsible for overseeing IPQA and the culture stock maintenance of various enzymes and probiotics since January 2024. Prior to this role, PurnaChandra served as a Principal Scientist at Premas Biotech and worked as a Microbiologist at Godrej Agrovet Limited, where innovative research projects were led in the Palm Oil industry. Experience also includes leadership in fermentation and R&D at Tex Biosciences from 2012 to 2016, and various research positions focusing on molecular cloning, fermentation, protein purification, and vaccine production across multiple companies including Magene Life Sciences and Biological Evans. PurnaChandra holds an M.Sc in Microbiology from Bharathidasan University and a B.Sc in Botany, Microbiology, and Chemistry from Osmania University.
