Theresa Knight-Allen

Theresa Knight-Allen is an experienced education professional with a comprehensive background in curriculum implementation and special education. Currently serving as Assistant Principal at Texarkana Independent School District since July 2020, Theresa previously held the position of Instructional Math/Science Coach from August 2014 to May 2020, where responsibilities included guiding classroom teachers in the effective execution of math and science curricula. With previous roles as a Math RTI Teacher and Special Education Teacher at Texarkana Independent School District from August 2001 to June 2014, Theresa focused on facilitating supportive learning environments for students with special needs. Early in the career, Theresa worked as a Special Education Aide at Atlanta Independent School District from August 1998 to May 2001. Theresa holds a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University-Texarkana and a Bachelor of General Studies in the same field.
