Maleni Arredondo is currently serving as the Community Engagement Chair at Texas 4000 for Cancer, where responsibilities include overseeing several coordinators and crafting initiatives to promote health and charity in the fight against cancer. Arredondo also works as a Graduate Research Assistant at UT Health School of Public Health, focusing on cardiovascular epidemiology among young Latinx children. Additionally, Arredondo is involved with the streetwear brand cherryish yourself as a Strategy and Creative Design Member, and serves as the Creative Director for the nonprofit consensual, both of which empower survivors of sexual assault through art and conversation. Other roles include being an HSF Scholar, TIP Lead Peer Mentor, and Fashion Stylist for Spark Magazine, alongside experiences in research and community outreach within educational settings. Maleni holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at UTHealth School of Public Health.
