Ashley Bearden

Ashley Bearden, MPH, currently serves as the Executive Director at Texas AHEC East - Waco Region since March 2019. Previously, Ashley held the position of Epidemiologist Lead at TEKsystems from May 2020 to August 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of case investigators and contact tracers for COVID-19 surveillance and collaborating with state and local epidemiologists. Prior experience at Baylor University includes roles such as Facilities Graduate Assistant, Research Coordinator focusing on pediatric global surgery, and Recreation Service Associate Staff leader, leading various operational and research initiatives. Ashley holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from Baylor University.
