Bryan English

Bryan English has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Texas Engineering Extension Service since October 2004, where responsibilities include teaching Fast Rescue Boat and Sea Survival Classes. Prior positions include Marine Section Leader at Maersk Drilling from November 2012 to May 2014 and Relief Chief Mate at J Ray McDermott Inc from January 2008 to June 2011, where Bryan English assumed chief responsibilities in the absence of the full-time Chief Mate, managed crew tasks, and made critical decisions. Bryan English started the maritime career as a Third Mate/DPO, progressing to the role of Second Mate/SDPO, and has completed various essential duties related to vessel safety and navigation. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus and Texas Maritime Academy, obtained from 2003 to 2007.
