Ali Smith

Ali Smith currently serves as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving for Chatty Cats at Western Carolina University since December 2021. Prior experience includes roles in sales and marketing at Krismart Fashions from May 2020 to November 2021, and guest services/member outreach at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center between May 2019 and July 2020, along with an internship. Earlier experience includes a position as a lifeguard at Jackson County Public Pool from May 2017 to August 2018. Ali Smith is pursuing a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication at East Carolina University, expected to be completed in June 2025, and holds a bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations from Western Carolina University, awarded in 2020, as well as an Associate of Arts from Southwestern Community College.
