Mike Stumpf has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Sergeant in the Criminal Investigations Division for Brazos County since September 2010, where responsibilities include overseeing property crimes investigations and serving as Assistant SWAT Team Leader. In addition to investigative roles, Mike holds the position of Patrol Sergeant, managing deputies within the patrol division, and has previously served as a Deputy Sheriff and Field Training Deputy. Mike also contributes to the field of law enforcement education as an Adjunct Instructor for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service since November 2017 and served as a Lieutenant for the South Brazos County Fire Department from August 2001 to August 2021, overseeing firefighters and acting as an arson investigator when necessary. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Patrol Officer in College Station from July 2004 to August 2010, where training new recruit officers was a key responsibility. Mike holds a Texas Peace Officer License from the Texas A&M University System - TEEX Central Texas Police Academy.
