Mitchell Sims is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency management, education, and leadership. Serving as a full-time Agency Instructor at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service - TEEX since April 2015, Mitchell focuses on teaching critical workshops related to crisis leadership and emergency planning. Prior to this, Mitchell held various roles including Director of the Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency, where responsibilities included developing emergency preparedness plans. Additional experience encompasses co-owning a catering company, serving as Executive Pastor and Associate Pastor at churches, and a long tenure as Battalion Chief with the City of Gulf Shores Fire Rescue. Educational qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University and extensive training in Emergency Medical Technology across several institutions.
