Shane Mooney

Shane Mooney currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, specializing in the Enhanced All-Hazards Incident Management/Unified Command (MGT314) since May 2018. Mooney has extensive experience with the New York City Fire Department, holding the positions of Captain and Planning Section Chief since October 2001, and serves as the Deputy Incident Commander for the FDNY’s All Hazard Incident Management Team since October 2019. Shane Mooney holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from SUNY Oneonta, obtained between 1997 and 2001.
