Ryan Griffin

Ryan Griffin currently serves as the Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer for the Texas A&M University System since July 2025. Prior to this role, Ryan held various positions at Cheniere Energy, Inc. from November 2015 to July 2025, including Director of Compensation, Benefits and Payroll and Manager of Payroll & Benefits. Ryan's extensive experience includes over 13 years at Mercer as a Principal, where responsibilities involved leading client engagements for organizations of varying sizes across multiple industries, and developing benefits design and renewal strategies. Ryan began professional development as an Information Technology Intern at Landmark Graphics in 2001. Educationally, Ryan graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Mathematics in 2001.
