Texas Association of Counties
Amy Ruedas serves as the Legislative Services Operations Manager at the Texas Association of Counties since March 2016, providing executive-level administrative assistance and overseeing the legislative department's daily operations. Additionally, since January 2018, Amy has managed site operations at a Community Tax Center for Foundation Communities, supporting clients and volunteers. Prior roles include Director of Organization and Communication and Director of Child & Family Ministry at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, where Amy evaluated organizational effectiveness and designed children's programs. Further experience includes coordinating a corporate work-study program at San Juan Diego Catholic High School, serving as Recreation Programs Specialist for the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, and serving as Assistant Director at Bright Horizons Child Development Center. Amy holds a BA in Human Services and a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Organization Development and Training from St. Edward's University.

The Texas Association of Counties was established in 1969 to provide services to Texas counties and to promote the value of county government statewide. TAC is the representative voice for all 254 Texas counties and county officials. Through TAC, counties communicate the county perspective to state officials and the citizens of Texas.
