Maurice Whitfield, MPA, PMP, is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in managing educational programs and events for the Texas Association of Counties since January 2015. Previously, Maurice served as Advocacy Coordinator and Grant Manager at NAMI Texas from April 2012 to October 2014, where responsibilities included organizing and conducting training for individuals with serious mental illness. Maurice also contributed to the nonprofit sector at Communities In Schools, providing outreach services and support to at-risk youth from September 2010 to April 2012. Earlier in the career, Maurice worked with the City of Austin as a Human Resources Professional from January 2007 to May 2010, leading the Payroll Unit and stepping in as Acting Human Resource Supervisor as needed.
