John Spann

John Spann is a seasoned law enforcement professional currently serving as a Police Officer on the Special Events team at Texas Christian University since February 2021, where responsibilities include coordinating police security for various events. Prior to this role, John Spann served for over 30 years at the Midlothian Police Department, retiring as Captain/Commander in November 2020, and had previous experience as a Reserve Police Officer and Reserve Corporal. John Spann holds an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Navarro College and further education from Midwestern State University.
