The Public Policy and Advocacy team at the Texas Council on Family Violence works to influence legislation and policies that protect survivors of domestic violence and promote systemic change. They conduct research, engage with lawmakers, and collaborate with stakeholders to advocate for effective legal protections and support services, ensuring that the voices of survivors and service providers are heard in the policymaking process. This team also focuses on raising awareness about domestic violence issues and enhancing community responses through strategic initiatives and partnerships.
