Ashley Crutchfield

Ashley Crutchfield is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since May 2023. Additionally, Crutchfield is a Member of the Texas Bar College, an honorary society recognizing attorneys committed to excellence in legal practice. Previous roles include Assistant General Counsel at the Texas Department of Banking, Staff Attorney at the Texas Funeral Service Commission, and Assistant Attorney General at the Texas Attorney General's Office. Crutchfield began legal career as a Bill Analyst for the Texas Legislative Council and has held various internships in legal settings, including at the Shurat HaDin - Israel Law Center and Richardson + Burgess LLP. Crutchfield holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from The University of Texas at Austin.
