Ellen Webking

Ellen Webking is an experienced attorney with a strong background in public service and privacy law. Currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the General Counsel Division of the Texas Attorney General's office since October 2022, Ellen previously held roles including Associate General Counsel/Privacy Counsel at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and Assistant General Counsel at the Texas Department of Insurance. Ellen's legal career began as an Assistant Attorney General at the Texas Attorney General's office and includes valuable internship experience with the Oakland Raiders, Women's Employment Law Clinic, and San Francisco District Attorney's Office. Ellen holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University, School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Texas State University.
