Keith Yawn

Keith Yawn serves as the Director of Government and Strategic Communications at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles since December 2021. Prior to this role, Keith held various positions at the Employees Retirement System of Texas, including Director of Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects Manager in the Executive Office from July 2014 to December 2021. Keith's experience also includes serving as the Director of the Committee on Appropriations at the Texas House of Representatives and positions at the Legislative Budget Board as a Senior Policy Analyst and Policy Analyst. Additionally, Keith has held directorial roles at the Texas Facilities Commission focusing on state asset systems and vehicle fleet management, and worked as a Project Manager for the Council on Competitive Government at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Keith holds an M.B.A. from Baylor University, a Master of Public Administration from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Real Estate Finance from Baylor University.
