Clover Clamons

Clover Clamons is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in natural resource management and environmental compliance. Currently serving as the Director of the Natural Resources Management Section at the Texas Department of Transportation since January 2018, Clover manages a team that ensures project compliance with environmental laws. Previous roles include serving as an Environmental Specialist, where responsibilities included liaising with the US Fish and Wildlife Service on endangered species consultations. Clover's career also includes positions as a Geologist and Project Manager with Zara Environmental LLC and SWCA Environmental Consultants, where expertise was applied in environmental consulting and project management across various sectors. Additionally, Clover has experience in academia as an Adjunct Faculty member and has held roles focused on water conservation and resource planning. Clover holds a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from James Madison University.
