Parsons Townsend

Parsons Townsend is currently the Chief Audit and Compliance Officer at the Texas Department of Transportation. Prior to this role, Parsons served as the Compliance Division Director within the same organization. Before joining TxDOT, Parsons worked as an Audit Director at the Texas Health and Human Services - Office of Inspector General, and as a Compliance Section Director at the Texas Department of Transportation. Parsons began their career as a Compliance Specialist IV at the Texas State Auditor's Office and also served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Parsons holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Tarleton State University.
