Tisha Ghormley

Tisha Ghormley is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience as a Right-of-Way Attorney for the Texas Department of Transportation since November 2019, specializing in land acquisition and eminent domain proceedings. Tisha has held various leadership and management roles in multiple non-profit organizations since 1999, contributing to educational and community initiatives. Previous positions include Chief Legal Counsel and Operations Manager at Gratia Enterprises, Inc., where strategic advisory and operations management were key responsibilities, as well as serving as a Judge Appointed Special Commissioner for Tarrant County, focusing on condemnation and eminent domain matters. Tisha’s legal career began with roles at Jenkens & Gilchrist and other firms, emphasizing commercial real estate and business contract transactions. Tisha holds a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
