Sarah Witmer, MBA, is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as a Brand Copywriter and Marketing Communications Specialist at TDECU since August 2021. Prior to this role, Sarah worked with the Houston Astros from November 2018 to November 2021 in Marketing and Promotions, and held positions as an Operational Key Leader and at the Guest Education Center at lululemon from September 2019 to August 2021. Additional experience includes a Special Events Internship with the Sugar Land Skeeters in the summer of 2019 and serving as a Certified Trainer at Chick-fil-A from March 2015 to May 2019. Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in Organizational and Corporate Communications from the University of Houston and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Marketing at the University of Texas at Tyler, expected to complete in May 2024.

Founded in 1955, TDECU formed when a group of Dow employees pitched in $5 each to loan a friend $35 to buy a refrigerator. That initial mission of people helping people continues today.
