Jose A. Lopez

Jose A. Lopez currently serves as a Campus Administrator at the Texas Education Agency since July 2025. Prior to this role, Jose held various positions within the Dallas Independent School District, including Recruitment and Selection Coordinator and School Principal, from July 2023 to July 2025 and July 2021 to July 2023, respectively. Experience also includes serving as Recruitment, Marketing, and Branding Coordinator from April 2019 to July 2021, as well as multiple roles at Universidad Ana G. Méndez (UAGM), where Jose was Director of Recruitment Development, Director of Marketing and Outreach, and Operations Manager from July 2015 to April 2019. Jose’s career in Dallas ISD began in June 2004, culminating in positions such as Assistant Principal, Principal Fellow, and Teacher until July 2015. Jose holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs and International Development from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
