Pete Flores

Pete Flores currently serves as the Director of Assessment Operations at the Texas Education Agency since March 2023. Prior to this role, Pete held positions as Program Manager at Pearson from January 2021 to December 2022 and as Process Specialist at Educational Testing Service (ETS) from January 2011 to January 2021. Earlier in his career, Pete was a teacher at Edgewood ISD, specializing in Math, Physics, Engineering, and Robotics from January 2007 to January 2011, and also taught at Harlandale ISD from January 2004 to December 2006. Pete's military service includes time as a Sailor in the US Navy from June 1995 to December 2001. Pete's educational credentials include an MBA in Project Management from Texas A&M University-San Antonio, an MEd in Math/Science Education from Our Lady of the Lake University, and a BS in Mathematics from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
