Nandita Shetty has over 18 years of experience in healthcare, technology, and innovation. In 2002, they began their career as a Software Developer at Philips Medical Systems. Nandita then moved on to become a Neuro-Imaging Researcher and founding member of TRANSCEND Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University/Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging in 2006. In 2011, they took on the role of Business Development Manager at Invictus Oncology, a biotech start-up. In 2014, they Co-Founded Flavour Labs, a Food & Beverage startup in India that was acquired by one of India's leading food tech start-ups, InnerChef. Nandita then worked as an Independent Consultant and Healthcare Consultant for RemoteYear Participant in 2016. In 2017, they Co-Founded Neural Signatures, LLC. In 2019, they acted as an Advisor at Texas Health Catalyst, Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2020, they joined the Founding Team and Assistant Director (Operations) at the Texas Global Health Security Innovation Consortium (TEXGHS). Nandita currently serves as the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Lactation Lab, whose latest invention was awarded Breakthrough Device designation by the FDA in May 2022.

Nandita Shetty has a diverse educational background. Nandita attended Ramaiah Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Electronics. Nandita then attended UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering jointly with UT Arlington, Texas. In 2013, they completed the Stanford Ignite Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they studied Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
