Judge Jon Wisser

Judge Jon Wisser has extensive judicial experience, serving as a Senior District Court Judge for the State of Texas since September 1982, where thousands of civil, criminal, and family law cases have been tried. Prior to this role, Jon Wisser served as a District Judge, managing a variety of cases and officiating weddings. From July 1977 to September 1982, Jon Wisser was the County Court Judge for Travis County, Texas, overseeing criminal, civil, and probate cases, with a significant number of jury and non-jury trials conducted. Jon Wisser holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas at Austin, completed between 1963 and 1972, and graduated from Edison High School in 1963 with a college preparatory diploma.
