Dr. Arlene Loveless has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Dr. Arlene is currently employed at Texas Health Action as a Medical Practitioner, where they provide medical care to medically underserved communities, focusing on HIV prevention and treatment as well as gender affirming care. Dr. Arlene also assists patients in accessing affordable insurance plans.

In 2021, Dr. Loveless started their own business called Dr. Arlene organic skincare, where they offer 100 percent organic skincare products formulated to improve skin tone, texture, and moisture.

Prior to their current roles, Dr. Loveless held various positions at different organizations. From 2007 to 2021, they worked at Parkland Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner and later as the Director of Quality & Performance Improvement. Dr. Arlene played a crucial role in establishing and implementing electronic workflows for quality and performance data, standardizing data entry and action plans for over 760 quality measures.

Between 2018 and 2021, Dr. Loveless served as the Chief Nursing Officer at REMARKABLE HEALTHCARE OF DALLAS, LP. Dr. Arlene also briefly worked at Children's Hospital as the Sr. Director of Process Improvement in 2018 and held the position of Critical Care Registered Nurse at Medical City Dallas from 2001 to 2004.

In their earlier years, Dr. Loveless worked with Dr. Nirmal Jayaseelan as a RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) and Nurse Practitioner in a general surgeon practice from 2004 to 2007.

Dr. Arlene Loveless, PhD, DNP, MBA, MS, ANP-BC, LSSBB has an extensive education history. Dr. Arlene began their academic journey at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/nursing from 1995 to 1999. Following their undergraduate studies, Dr. Loveless pursued a Master's degree in Adult Health Nurse/Nursing from Texas Woman's University, completing their studies from 2002 to 2004.

In 2008, Dr. Loveless obtained the certification of a certified correctional health professional. Additionally, they became an adult health nurse practitioner certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center.

Dr. Loveless's passion for medicine led their to attend the Saint James School of Medicine from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Their dedication to educating and leading healthcare professionals then motivated their to pursue a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The University of Texas at Arlington, which they achieved from 2011 to 2013.

Complementing their medical expertise, Dr. Loveless expanded their knowledge in healthcare administration and management. From 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Texas at Tyler.

Continuing their pursuit of academic excellence, Dr. Loveless embarked on their most recent educational endeavor at Trident University International. From 2018 to 2021, they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health.
