Anthony Lara

Anthony Lara, MPA, R.T. (R) (CT) is a seasoned professional in the field of medical imaging and healthcare administration, currently serving as the Director of Radiology at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton since October 2021. Lara has built a diverse career with experience as a Medical Imaging Consultant and Operations Manager since July 2021, and previously held the position of Manager of Diagnostic Imaging at Medical City Healthcare from April 2019 to October 2021. Prior roles include Manager Support Services at the Texas Institute for Surgery, where responsibilities included overseeing various patient support services and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards. Lara's extensive background in medical imaging began as a Lead Medical Imaging Technologist at Baylor Health Care System from July 2003 to September 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in Health Care Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Development and Advanced Patient Care. Additionally, Lara completed training at Baylor Radiology Allied Health School.
