Jim Lawrenz

Jim Lawrenz, CPA, CGMA, currently serves as the Capital Projects Accounting Manager at Texas Health Resources, a position held since August 1998. In this role, Jim oversees the accounting for all capital purchases for 26 hospitals, managing budgeting, approvals, reconciliations, and the setup of asset components for over $500 million in active projects, which include real estate, IT, and leasing. Prior experience includes serving as an Owner/CFO for the Jazzercise Center of Plano from 2004 to 2010, where responsibilities entailed contract negotiations and various operational needs. Jim began their career as an Auditor at Freed Maxick & Battaglia, CPAs, focusing on asset-based lending audits. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management Strategies & Control from Eastern Michigan University, completed between 1987 and 1991.
