Wendy Mizell has extensive experience in health information management and regulatory compliance, currently serving as Sr. Director of Operations & Regulatory Compliance at Texas Health Resources since January 2001. Wendy has held various roles, including Director and Manager of Operations and Regulatory Compliance, overseeing records management across multiple campuses and healthcare facilities. Key responsibilities include managing health information services, leading accreditation efforts, and implementing electronic health record systems. Previously, Wendy has held leadership positions at HealthSouth, Willow Creek Hospital, and Millwood Hospital, contributing to successful Joint Commission accreditations. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Record Administration from Louisiana Tech University.
