Dr. Bradley Lembcke joined the Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) Texas Division as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) on December 3, 2018. In this role, Dr. Lembcke works closely with the CHI Texas Division Chief Nursing Officer to drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, physician and employee engagement, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Prior to joining CHI, Dr. Lembcke started work at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in Dallas, TX in July of 1997 as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist. Over his 21 years at BUMC, Dr. Lembcke kept a clinical practice, and built and led a large Hospitalist group, ultimately caring for over 400 patients per day. He held administrative leadership positions in Case Management, Utilization, Quality, Patient Safety, and Informatics. Dr. Lembcke also served as BUMC's Chief of Staff for 3 years and was Chief Medical Officer from 2013 to 8. He also helped start and grow an accountable care organization and later served as the Chair of the Quality Alliance Board. Dr. Lembcke has extensive experience in Medical Staff Affairs, Peer Review, CMS and Joint Commission regulatory standards, and documentation integrity.
