Dr. Ahmad Bahai

Dr. Ahmad Bahai currently serves as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at Texas Instruments, leading the TI Research Lab (Kilby Labs) since 2011. In addition, Dr. Bahai holds the position of Professor of the Practice at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and served as Consulting Professor at Stanford University from 2003 to January 2023, where co-advising graduate students and co-founding the Stanford Center for Positioning, Navigation and Time were notable contributions. Previously, Dr. Bahai was Chief Technology Officer at National Semiconductor, where strategic technology planning and partnerships were pivotal, and co-founded Algorex Corporation, overseeing advanced wireless communication systems development. Earlier experience includes a Technical Manager role at Bell Laboratories, contributing to wireless digital communications system research. Dr. Bahai earned a Research Doctorate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science from Imperial College London.
