Akash Jape

Akash Jape is a highly engaged professional currently serving as Vice President at Texas Inventionworks, where responsibilities include coordinating long-term projects and leading daily operations alongside the Executive Team. Previous roles at Texas Inventionworks include Operations Lead, responsible for scheduling over 60 student employees, and Student Staff, assisting more than 150 students in fabrication techniques. Akash gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on laser sintering and automation design. Additionally, involvement in organizations such as ASME at UT Austin and Longhorn Racing Combustion reflects strong leadership and collaborative skills. Akash is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in 2027, following early academic achievements at Plano West Senior High School.
