Dale McNeill

Dale McNeill has extensive experience in library management and public service, currently serving as the Assistant Director for Public Service at the San Antonio Public Library since October 2012. In this role, Dale provides oversight for library branches and the Central Library, focusing on programming, services, and collection development, while also developing strategies for new library buildings. With a professional career spanning over three decades, Dale has held various leadership positions including Director of Public Library Service at Queens Library, Public Service Administrator at Dallas Public Library, and Branch Manager at Fort Worth Public Library. Dale is an active member of both the Texas Library Association and the American Library Association, having participated as a panelist in multiple conferences. Educationally, Dale holds a Master's in Library Science from Louisiana State University and has pursued studies in Public Administration at the University of North Texas.
