Phillip Williams, MD, is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon board-certified in sports medicine and shoulder surgery, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and Medical Director for the Houston SaberCats Rugby team. As Chief Medical Officer at MobilityZ Health, Phillip specializes in telehealth for chronic musculoskeletal injury management. Phillip advises startups at Texas Medical Center Innovation on health technology strategies and has previously held academic positions at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Training includes a sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe and residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where extensive research and clinical experience were gained. Education includes an M.D. from Harvard Medical School and a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University.
