Shama Tajani, MPH, CHES, currently serves as the Innovation Community Liaison at Texas Medical Center Innovation since July 2023. Previously, Shama held the position of Community Health Outreach & Engagement Coordinator at Fort Bend County Health & Human Services from July 2021 to June 2023, where Shama developed outreach strategies, established over 50 partnerships, and organized 260 mobile clinics addressing various public health issues, including COVID-19 vaccinations. Prior roles include Mobile Health Unit Lead at Texas Health and Human Services, Program Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin. Shama's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society from The University of Texas at Austin.
