Ms. Ashley McPhail is the Vice President of Strategy and Administration at Texas Medical Center, where she provides internal leadership to drive the creation and implementation of the Texas Medical Center’s strategic plan and activities, as well as overseeing human resources. Ms. McPhail is responsible for the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives to foster collaboration across the Texas Medical Center. Ms. McPhail leads strategic programs such as the Clinical Research Institute and the TMC international BioBridges to advance innovation and research in the life sciences. Prior to joining Texas Medical Center in 2015, Ms. McPhail worked for GMMB, Inc. in Washington, D.C. as a senior account executive providing campaign and communication strategy for global health and domestic health care clients, including The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the United Nations Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Ms. McPhail earned a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Millsaps College. Ms. McPhail serves on the Millsaps College Board of Visitors and is actively involved with the Junior League of Houston and the Houston Symphony’s Young Associates Council.
