Michael Hardy

Michael Hardy is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Editor and Writer-at-large for Texas Monthly since March 2017, Hardy has previously worked as a freelance journalist from 2015 to 2022 and as Arts Editor for Houstonia Magazine from January 2013 to May 2015. Prior reporting experience includes a position at The Sunday Leader and an editorial internship at The Boston Globe. Hardy began a career in journalism with internships at The Houston Chronicle and Texas Monthly. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in English from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Rice University.
