Lonne Parent-Smith, CMP, has extensive experience in event planning and management, currently serving as the Conferences and Training Manager at Texas Municipal League since July 1998. In this role, Lonne assists the Deputy Director with planning and on-site coordination for various educational events, including one-day workshops and multi-day conferences, while managing logistical arrangements for the Annual Conference and Exhibition. Prior to this, Lonne worked as a Meeting Planner for the Texas Association of School Boards from 1996 to June 1998, providing on-site support for educational events and coordinating special events as needed. Lonne holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education/Art History with Secondary Teacher Certification from The University of Texas at Austin and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Suffolk County Community College.
