Jorge Darcourt Rizo Patron M.D.

Jorge Darcourt Rizo Patron MD, MHCM has extensive experience in the field of oncology and healthcare management. Jorge currently serves as the Medical Director and Member of the Executive Council, Gulf Coast at Texas Oncology. Prior to this, they held various roles at Houston Methodist, including Associate Director Community Cancer Centers, Assistant Professor-Hematology and Medical Oncology, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, and Deputy Chair of the Department of Medicine. Dr. Rizo Patron has demonstrated leadership and expertise in the medical field throughout their career.

Jorge Darcourt Rizo Patron MD, MHCM has an extensive education history. Jorge obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 1999. Jorge then completed their Internal Medicine Residency Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they pursued Postdoctoral Fellowship Training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine from 2006 to 2009. Lastly, they earned a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2018.
