W. Parker Abblitt

Dr. Abblitt is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Fellowship trained in total joint replacement and focused on minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery and revision joint reconstructions. He graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University, where he earned degrees in both economics and engineering. Dr. Abblitt completed his medical training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Upon graduating medical school, Dr. Abblitt completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Following his residency, Dr. Abblitt completed a fellowship in total joint replacement at the renowned Rush University in Chicago, IL. There he learned advanced techniques in surgical methods from innovators in the field of minimally invasive and revision joint replacement surgery.

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Abblitt loves spending time with his wife Whitney, and their two boys. He is an avid college football and Atlanta Braves fan who also enjoys hunting, skiing, traveling, and golfing.
