Michael Muniz

Michael Muniz, PharmD, FAARM has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy. Michael is currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Texas Pharmacy Association since July 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of President from July 2021 to July 2022. In 2020, they established their own practice, NuRx Pharmacy LLC, where they serve as the Owner and Compounding Clinical Pharmacist. This practice specializes in consultations and compounding medications focused on healing and revitalizing the body's health. Additionally, they worked as a Pharmacist at Caliburn International from November 2020, and as the Owner of Krave Market since August 2018. Krave Market is a medical-based health foods store aimed at helping patients heal through nutrition and reducing the reliance on medications. Michael also worked as a Pharmacist at Muniz Rio Grande Pharmacy from September 2012 to August 2020.

Michael Muniz, PharmD, FAARM completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Surgical Technology/Technologist from Texas State Technical College Harlingen in 2005. Michael then pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General and Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Texas at Brownsville from 2005 to 2007. In 2012, Michael graduated from the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
