Brian Whitley

Brian Whitley is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the education sector. Currently serving as the VP of Communications at the Texas Public Charter Schools Association since June 2020, Whitley previously held the position of Director of Media Relations at Success Academy Charter Schools from October 2010 to December 2019. Whitley's career in journalism includes roles as a higher education reporter at The Star-Ledger, a reporter at The Christian Science Monitor, and a public safety reporter at The Dallas Morning News. Additionally, Whitley worked as a reporter and editor at The Daily Californian and served as a web and editorial assistant at The International Herald Tribune. Brian Whitley earned a BA in International Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008.
