Marlene Weis

Marlene Weis is a current Policy Intern at the Texas Public Policy Foundation and has held various leadership roles within Kappa Delta Sorority, including Director of Alumni Relations and Recruitment Assistant. Marlene gained experience in customer service as a waitress at Sundown at Granada and HG Supply Company, LLC, and contributed to community building as a Resident Assistant at Scottish Rite Dormitory. Marlene served as the Assembly Communications Coordinator and was a 116th Assembly Member of Student Government at The University of Texas at Austin, showcasing strong communication skills. Previous roles include Gelato Scooper at Botolino Gelato Artigianale, where Marlene specialized in customer satisfaction, and leadership positions at Ursuline Academy of Dallas, such as President of the CAUSE for Life Club and Communications Director for the ESSE Literary and Art Magazine. Marlene is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Leadership at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in 2025.
