Kenath Carver

Kenath Carver has extensive work experience in the field of compliance and cybersecurity. Kenath started their career at First Community Services in 2006, where they held various roles such as Helpdesk Technician Level II, Helpdesk Assistant Manager, Senior IT Security Administrator, and Business Solutions Analyst Information Technology. In 2012, they joined Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. as a Critical Infrastructure Protection Security Auditor II. Over the years, they progressed to roles including Critical Infrastructure Protection Security Auditor III, Compliance Team Lead, and Manager of CIP Compliance Monitoring. Most recently, they served as the Director of Cybersecurity Outreach and CIP Compliance, and they are currently the Director of Compliance Assessments at Texas Reliability Entity, Inc.

Kenath Carver completed their education in a chronological manner. Kenath earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems from Texas A&M University–Central Texas from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Information Systems Software Engineering from Tarleton State University, which they attended from 2003 to 2008. Kenath Carver also holds an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, which they earned from Central Texas College between 2001 and 2003. In 2014 to 2015, they completed a Information Security Specialist Certificate of Completion program at Central Texas College in the field of Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Kenath Carver has obtained several certifications. Kenath obtained the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification from (ISC)² in February 2019. In October 2018, they earned the GIAC Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP) certification from GIAC Certifications. Kenath Carver also holds the CompTIA CySA+ ce certification, obtained in August 2016. Prior to that, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce certification in December 2013 and the CompTIA Network+ ce certification in December 2012.
