Clinical Research Coordinator at TEXAS RETINA ASSOCIATES

Marisa Kubacki has worked in various research roles since 2017. Marisa began as a Chemistry Lab Prep-Room Employee at the University of Arizona CBC Department in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, where they used Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry methodology and the Electrochemical Detector (ECD-700) to identify and quantify various biomarkers in human eccrine sweat. Marisa also developed and conducted a research study to further research on sweat collection systems and the connection between target cortisol biomarkers in human eccrine sweat and anxiety. In 2019, Marisa started working at Mary Kay Skin Care & Cosmetics as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where they created and presented internal reports from data received through external studies, and led experimental sessions to test various aspects of samples. Currently, Marisa is employed at Texas Retina Associates as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where they perform all regulatory responsibilities for 30 active studies, and acts as the primary coordinator for some of the clinical trials at the location.

Marisa Kubacki obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2019. In addition, they also obtained an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) certification from the Arizona Department of Health Services in January 2019.
