Cathryn Ibarra

Cathryn Ibarra currently serves as the Recruitment Manager at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid since March 2023. Previously, Ibarra was a Civil Justice Attorney at the Texas Access to Justice Commission from May 2018 to March 2023, where responsibilities included developing legislative strategies, drafting legislation and policies, and providing training on access to justice issues. Prior experience includes roles as a Staff Attorney in the Legal Access Division of the State Bar of Texas, where Ibarra focused on legal education and pro bono programs, and as a Legislative Aide for Senator John Whitmire. Ibarra holds a Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Claremont McKenna College.
